About Kira

This beautiful girl is 'Kira'. ��� Kira appears to be an Australian Cattle Dog mix. This poor girl found herself in a South Texas shelter when her family's living situation changed :( This shelter fills up quick with homeless dogs, putting Kira at risk of being euthanized. We were asked to pull her to safety and now she is safe in a Michigan foster home :) Although her previous home was a multidog household, we think Kira would do best as an the only dog in her next home. In foster care she has been selective on who her friends are and does demonstrate some jealous tendencies if someone else other than her is getting all the lovin' :O With her humans, Kira is very gentle, loving, obedient, snuggly and affectionate. She is house and crate trained, good on leash, a good traveler and knows some basic commands. She has been around children as young as 7 and done fantastic. A cat free home would be best. Kira has been through a lot in a short period of time and deserves nothing short of a great home where she can get the attention and snuggling she deserves. Could it be yours?
