About Chester

Chester has been waiting a VERY long time to find a new home. We pulled him from a kill shelter 2 years ago and he has been with us ever since. This great dog deserves a REAL furever home! Chester is a 6-year-old Labrador/Chow mix. He is a great dog and can become very devoted and affectionate. He's playful and good on the leash, and is crate trained. He loves hiking! He generally totally ignores strangers and only displays his affectionate side once he gets to know you, but once he does, he's a HUGE love! He is very well-behaved with all humans, including kids. He is good with other dogs. He is neutered and up to date on vaccinations, and has no special needs or behavior problems. You read right...there is no good reason this poor dog has been waiting so long for his family. We DO adopt out-of-state! You must still pick him up in person in Las Vegas, NV. We are looking for an active family with experience with dogs for him.
