About Peaches

Peaches is approx. 4 years old and 55 pounds. She is a beautiful mix breed dog. Our best guess at breed is Siberian Husky and German shepherd or possibly Shiba Inu. That is the fun part about shelter dogs! They can be almost anything. Peaches has apparently lived most of her life outside. However, she is now with a wonderful foster who is teaching her all about living inside. She is also working on her crate training. Peaches was nervous of the crate, at first, but settled down quickly. She slept in the crate all night with out any accidents. The foster says that she is very sweet and gentle and walks well on the leash. Peaches has shown a little fear of men. She would just go sit by the foster, when she got nervous. Peaches was hw positive but has now completed treatment. She will need to be on heartworm prevention for the rest of her life. It is around $76 a year from Chewy. Peaches is spayed and up to date on all vaccines and preventatives. WE DO NOT HAVE CATS. THEREFORE WE DO NOT KNOW CAT COMPATIBILITY. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND: OUR PETS ARE SHELTER PETS. WE HAVE VERY LITTLE, IF ANY, INFORMATION ABOUT THEIR PAST. PLEASE BE COMMITTED AND PREPARED TO TRAIN/RETRAIN YOUR NEW PET. REMEMBER, THEY MUST HAVE TIME TO DECOMPRESS.
