About George

Meet George. George is big handsome boy, about 2 or 3 years old, who showed up as a stray in a local neighborhood. After no one came to claim him, it was determined that George would be a wonderful house cat and deserved a new home. George loves to snuggle in bed, play with his favorite toy (the feather wand) and zoom around the house. He is a bit skittish when it comes to quick movements and takes a bit to warm up to new people, but he has his very own security blanket that he will run to for comfort. At the moment, he warms up quicker to women, but he is in love with his current foster dad. It just takes some time to come around. Due to his uncomfortableness with quick moving people, he might not be the best choice for small children. However, his friendly, love demanding personality may make him a lovely choice as a family man if given the right house willing to work on a slow and 'George focused' introduction. Big boy doesn't like to be held up in your arms, but he definitely loves a good lap. George is a forever kind of guy who will never break your heart. A few notes: because he is a big boy, he needs a big litter box. If not, he misses and gets his mess just outside the box. And he refuses to drink out of a water bowl. He comes with a small fountain, but it will likely need to be upgraded. And he loves his wet food dinner. He will also come with his security blanket, and his favorite toy! George seems fine with other cats, but we have no history about how he is with dogs. All cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, FeLV/FIV tested and dewormed. Indoor homes only.
