About Rosie & Beto

American Staffordshire Terrier mix
Age: Adult

Rosy & Beto - they are getting a new start! Considering their background, of being in a home, the shelter, a foster, back to the shelter, another foster, and back to the shelter again. Their third foster moved on August 1st and they went to yet another foster home that didn't work out and now they are with a new rescue - AFEW. The original rescue ran out of options for these two senior buddies so AFEW offered to take them on. LET'S FIND THESE TWO AN AWESOME HOME TOGETHER!! These siblings are about 5-6 yrs old, up to date on vaccinations, house-trained, and both are spayed/neutered. Once they meet you and are comfortable they really blossom. The beautiful Miss Rosy - the intellect (red harness) is very loving with people, especially, once she comes to know you. The only other dog that Rosy wants in her life is her brother, Beto, but she can't wait to share tail-wags and love with her human friends! In contrast to his sister, sweet and handsome Beto, the clown (blue harness) is quite docile and compliant. He loves people, but can get a little timid at first and it takes him a little time to warm up to new people. The only other dog for Beto is Rosy, but he's ready to meet his forever two-legged family and shower them with kisses! Rosy and Beto are a stunning pair of American Staffordshire Terriers. These chunky monkeys are overweight but that is a temporary situation - looks like they gained the COVID 20!! They are currently on a weight loss program so we expect results soon! They are easy keepers, especially if you have a fenced yard. Older children 6+ only. No other dogs or cats please! Rosy and Beto are really hoping that their stay with AFEW will be a short one. Hopefully they will find their forever home or a foster who can hold onto them until they do. They are very sweet dogs deserving of a home where they will be loved and cherished forever. They are playful and affectionate with people and each other. So if you are willing, come meet them, they will definitely keep you laughing and entertained. Adopting a bonded pair of dogs can be a rewarding experience for the dogs and their humans. Believe it or not, it is often less work than single pets. We all need to share our lives with one of our own! How could you not want Double the love * Double the affection * Double the cuddles?
