About Lucy

Everybody meet LUCY!!! This adorable 9 year old 22 lb full tailed black and tan cocker girl came to us after her elderly owner moved out to enter a nursing home and could no longer care for her. Lucy came to us in not so great condition but now with proper nutrition, baths and some antibiotics her skin is looking great and she is on the mend- she has also been spayed and her long hair shaved to make her comfortable for the Summer. Lucy does have a mature cataract in her left eye but this is no way prevents her from seeing specially since her right eye is clear and cataract free. Lucy is an absolute love and although she is 9 years old quite frankly she has the energy of a much younger dog. Lucy loves to play and go for long walks. She is very well behaved and gets along with everyone. Lucy does get car sick so although good for short rides to the dog park or beach she would not be good for a home that goes on long extended road trips.
