About Frannie

Frannie, a 25lb Dachshund/Hound mix. At 2 years old, she has playful energy and looks to other dogs to play.�%A0 She's very loving and will follow you all through the house. She's calm most of the day and will lay on the couch if you're down and relaxed but she has moments when she gets very excited to play after a little while. Frannie's ideal environment would be a home with a yard for her to play in. She would do really well with someone who likes activity that will help expend her energy. She's good with other dogs but we recommend a dog her size who is playful. She does have some habits that need continuance in training to help her correct. That manifests itself in jumping and mouthing but she is doing better and learning to stop with a firm 'no'. Would not recommend a family with young kids because she nibbles and jumps up on you when she gets excited. If you walk in after haven't seeing her for a bit but don't acknowledge her she'll bark pretty loud at you to let you know. Frannie is spayed, micro-chipped and vaccinated and will be ready for adoption.
