About Thor

Can a name 'fit' a dog? We think so in Thor's case. He is a handsomely rugged pure bred adult German Shepherd dog. Thor has a strong, happy, playful personality and lots of energy. Thor enjoys the outdoors, especially going on hikes or even better a nice fenced in backyard to fetch and just have a fun time. Thor is very friendly to all the volunteers and friends of Sedona Shepherd. While in our care and at our facility, Thor is comfortable greeting new people, and generally will ignore well mannered large dogs. We keep Thor well socialized with all of our volunteers and he is an easy going people pleasing dog. In 2020, Thor had the left ear canal removed to address a long standing ear infection. He is healthy, can hear just fine in his right ear and ready to find his new home. Thor will flourish in a home with no other animals and an experienced German Shepherd owner. He is trustworthy in a house, smart, well trained and is looking to bond with his new best friend. We estimate Thor to be about 6-7 years old.��%BD%A0 Thor was previously adopted in 2019 and he did have a small bite incident two years ago when a contractor was visiting his home.��%BD%A0 He has had no incidents since being returned to Sedona in 2020 and is just looking to make friends.
