Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

PLEASE READ IN ENTIRETY!!!! MEET BECKY! (We are working on a new name, as her municipal workers called her Becky!) Here is what we can tell you about this gal! %90%BEFemale Chow Chow | 2-4 years old %90%BE48 lbs |Red/Fawn coloring %90%BESpayed |Current on vaccinations %90%BE4DX negative |Microchipped with a lifetime registration %90%BERides very well in the car |Extemely well with dogs of all sizes %90%BENot phased by cats |Walks loosely on a leash %90%BEGood with teenagers |Crate trained Miss Becky found her way to us when she was found roaming the streets and was picked up by animal control with nobody stepping up for her to claim her. She seems to be comfortable most around female humans so far. She has barked and become fearful towards 3/5 men we know she has had interactions with (one being the ACO who caught and brought to the shelter) Her reaction towards the 3/5 men was fear based without aggressive tendencies as she would cower, bark and growl while backing up without lunging and trying to be defensive. With the help of professionals, we are currently evaluating her reactions with men a bit further to get a better idea of how we can further help her land the best and experienced home possible! Miss Becky is an absolute peach! She will lean into you for head rubs as well as bum scratches. Outside of the 3/5 men she met, we haven't heard her bark. She is fully relaxed during car rides and stretches out across the seat to catch some %A4 When being annoyed by other dogs, Miss Becky politely excuses herself from the situation without error or attempt to correct the other dogs. While we continue to learn more about her, we are seeking a foster-to-adopt home for her who are homeowners with Chow Chow experience only - zero exceptions. Miss Becky does have an absolutely wonderful foster lined up for her, but we are unsure if it is ideal for her with her fear of men and are going to ease into the possibility of it all slowly. For less transitions for this beautiful girl, we are hoping to place her in a foster to adopt home. Please apply online at: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/30629/generic Upon gathering basic information, a phone interview will be conducted as well as home visit %90%BE%90%BE
