About Fred & Rudy

Larger chihuahua is Fred (approx 5 yrs old) . He's full blood apple head chihuahua (no papers) he's been neutered. He's somewhat house trained. Very active but extremely skittish. Loud noises scares him, he was abused years ago when we rescued him. Rudy is the smaller one (8 yrs old) full blooded chihuahua. He's very loving and loves to lay around with you. But can be hyper. Can show dominance at times. They live well together and have never been separated since 2015 when we rescued Fred. I am working 2 FT jobs and they need more attention than I can give. I hate leaving them caged up for 12+ hrs a day so they wear potty bands while I'm at work and are free to move within house. Very seldom to they have #2 accidents. They'll wait til i get home to take them out. This def isn't good for them but I can't bring myself to cage them all day. They just need attention and someone who can give them time they need. I took them from my daughter after she had my grandson as she moved to a 3rd floor apt an was hard for her to attend to them and baby. But I didn't realize how much they truly needed that I cannot give them. They've not been vaccinated at all, Rudy is bruised where puppy band is due to wearing it all day. But it don't seem to hurt him. They are extremely well taken care of other than they need play time outside. They will run away if not watched. They are such happy pups and just need more time and attention than I can give them They are great guard dogs they'll notify you everytime when someone is around. Please know though they are in puppy bands they are taken out when I am home and bathed properly fed properly etc. They are well taken care of other than they need time and attention. Living quarters is clean as well. This is hard for me as I'm so scared they'll be separated. I want them to stay together as that's all they've known. I know it might seem as I don't care but I truly do love them. They just need more than I can give.
