About Duke

Duke is the sweetest 45-55 pound dog. He is approximately 5-6 years old and has been with us since about 8 months old. He loves people and I'm pretty sure he thinks he is a person. He hates being outside by himself and hates being inside by himself, definitely a companion dog. He loves to cuddle and walk and run. He will play fetch with toys until he literally passes out from exhaustion. He is NOT good with kids or other animals. He is super sweet with adults, obsessed with toys, up to date on all vaccinations (Lymes included) and just got a paw-dicure today. Duke has grown accustomed to sleeping in bed with us, but also feels the need to stare at the front door all night and make sure we are safe. He is not a morning dog and would rather sleep in until noon if you let him. We are hoping to rehome him to a family not looking to have kids.
