About Bailey

I currently have a three year old Korean Jindo who is my baby, she loves me and my wife more than anything, but that's it. We had rescued her from a couple to didn't take care of her for her first 6 months or life. Because of the lack of socialization at the early age of her life, she had become very anti-social. My wife and I can never have friends over because she becomes very defensive and barks and growls at everyone, but she has never bitten anyone. We have tried some basic training but it never helped. Fast forward 3 years later, she becomes more aggressive because of her fear. We can't even have friends she is still very skittish and still only stays with wife and I, which is fine for the most part, except now we have a Baby, literally 5 days old, and our Jindo has been hyper focused on him when ever she sees him move. I've tried to correct the behavior but my wife doesn't trust her enough to be around the baby in any way. This Jindo is my baby, I love this dog, but I love my son more. I am at a loss, I have no idea how to go about this situation. If I take her to a shelter, no one will try to adopt her because of her fear based aggression, most shelters would just euthanize.
