About Manny

Manny is a skinny boy that needs a home! Manny was found as a stray in a dumpster behind a restaurant in McAllen Texas. When he was first rescued and brought into the foster home, he was starving and barely weighed 11 lbs. He was riddled with worms and had to be treated twice before they finally left his body. After the worms were treated he began to put on weight. Within a week he put on half of a lb. Today he weighs 13.2! Manny is neutered, vetted, vaccinated, and microchipped. Manny is playful, which is why he has the cone of shame to protect his incision from his recent neuter. Manny has been around children as young as 7. He allowed them to play with him appropriately. He has been fostered with a cat and other dogs both big and small. He is familiar with both leashed walks and having full run of a yard. This little guy is currently working on crate training. He has not yet perfected it, so his future adopter must be willing to work on it. If Manny sounds like a good fit please fill out our application!
