About BOOKER & BETTY

** ARIZONA ONLY ** Booker and Betty are seeking their together-forever home. They 100% cannot be separated. Betty is between 2-3 years old and looks to be a purebred yorkie. She is a little bundle of squeaky cuteness, weighing in at 9 pounds and loves her taller buddy so much! Booker is 16 pounds right now -- he's gained some weight since we took him in (very, very thin at the time) but still has 1-2 pounds to go to be at his ideal weight. He's estimated at 18 months old and a yorkie/poodle mix. Mutually, he just adores his little sidekick and likes to know where she is at all times. These two sweethearts had a bit of a rough past but still are so loving. They want to be close to their people for affection as much as possible. Because of initial hesitancy and a slight fear meeting new people, they should be in a home with no children -- or if there are children, they should be at least 14 years old and of a very kind, gentle, and responsible nature. Booker & Betty are rather squirrely on a leash (clearly no training in the past) but they do love going for morning walks and are getting the hang of it. They are perfect passengers in the car, and very nicely behaved in the house -- no accidents in their foster home! :) The ideal setting for this most darling pair would have no other dogs, probably no cats, should have a yard with at least a little grass (even if fake), and people who are home more than away. They are spayed/neutered, vet-checked, vaccinated, microchipped, and both have a collar and ID tag, harness and leash. We can set up a meet & greet upon approved application.
