About Amelia (Amy)

Amy is a newcomer. She was a found stray in Kerman, a little CA Valley town. I get a lot of dogs from this farm town. She appears to be about 10 months and a cattle dog mix. She is now spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations. She was a tad uncertain of me when we met. Understandable. But she was sniffing the backs of my legs and nudging for pets by the end of our day. Amelia is great with other dogs. She had an initial OH SHIT moment when she met everyone at once, but it lasted less than one minute, and we went on her first pack hike! Amy will be a great off leash dog. I dropped her lead by mistake and pretended I hadn't, she followed me until I was casually close and picked up the line. Whew! But it showed her heeler potential! Amy spent a quiet night in the yard with her new pack. She'll go on pack hikes everyday until her humans come along!
