About Ellie

4 year old Ellie is here!! From a rescue in Bakersfield. Border Collie mix. She was not in a situation where she'd thrive. So we did an R to R transfer. She did great on her integration with the pack! Ellie will build her confidence with the balanced dogs here. We'll get her on mountain hikes and creek swims with the pack. Ellie is spayed, vaxed and chipped. Ready to go for an approved adopter. Ellie is of shy of new folks. Just needs a little time to warm up to people. But she has that time. She was being overlooked because of her shyness up front. She's not aggressive with people or dogs. She isn't reactive to other dogs, but she is one that would be perfectly happy as the only dog in the house. She's fine with dogs, she just doesn't want to be hassled. Ellie could definitely be adopted to a home with another nice dog, but don't look at her as a friend to keep your other dog off your case. She wants you! In a little time, she'd be great with another dog, but she has to be able to sort out the situation. Balanced dog, no problem. All in all she's exactly what a lot of people have been looking for.
