Adoption Fee: $125
Pit Bull mix
Age: Young Adult

'If you were looking for a low key and totally sweet pooch, then you've come to the right place! My name is Aurora Borealis, but that's awful long, so you can just call me Aurora.. you know, like the princess. Anyways, I am a super sweet gal that was hoping that you might be my knight in shining armor, who will scoop me up and carry me home? I am a 3 year old or so Pittie/mix that came to SVASC when my previous owner lost her housing and had nowhere for me to go. We made it work for a little bit, but my person though that I may have a better life if I found a new home. I was pretty confused when I first came to the shelter and have taken a little bit t adjust to my new normal, but I'm getting there. After some time, I have really started to bloom and show off my wonderful personality. I have been getting to know some of the staff and volunteers here and they report that I am just the sweetest thing. I am pretty low energy and really just want cuddles. Sound like your thing? I haven't officially met and of the dogs at the shelter just yet, but I am very polite when I walk past them to get outside. I would likely do just fine sharing my home with another dog, but just to be sure, please plan to bring your current pup(s) to meet me before bringing me home. In my previous home, there were no children, so I am not really used to very young kids, but I have done well meeting teenagers here at the shelter. Again, please bring your whole family when you come to visit me. My adoption fee is $125 to an approved adopter. If you would like more information on me, please give SVASC a call at (540) 943-5142 or email Erin at [email protected]. SVASC is currently open by appointment only, so please call ahead. SVASC is located at 1001 Mt. Torrey Rd. Lyndhurst, VA.'
