About Lady

Lady is a stunning 4-month old, 18 lbs Golden Retriever/Hound mix pup! Lady is Sooooooo sweet but a little shy. She needs humans who will give her the time to settle in as well as a friendly dog pal to show her the ropes! Obviously toddlers would not be the right fit for her or the toddlers. She's also not a candidate to live in NYC or Brooklyn or any loud city environment which would understandably scare her. She needs a home with a fenced backyard.��%BD%A0 Her foster mom says,��%BD%A0 'Lady is a complete sweetheart! She did not have a lot of human interaction prior to being rescued so she is very shy when meeting new people/dogs and takes time warming up to new surroundings. She would do best in a quiet home without a lot of commotion and with a patient family (without young kids) that is willing to go at her pace. She enjoys the company of our two dogs and is very submissive with them; she immediately rolls onto her back when playing. I would recommend another friendly, calm dog in the house who doesn't have a ton of energy or likes to play rough as it can be intimidating to her. She loves to run outside in the yard with her toys and is a goofy, clumsy girl when she gets the zoomies. She also loves to 'hoard' her toys, blankets, and random articles of clothing in her bed to play with - it is very cute! She is a wonderful girl and with the right family, she will continue to blossom into a confident pup!'��%BD%A0 Lady is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. The adoption fee is $675. We require a fully fenced yard. We do not adopt to homes with invisible or electric fences because it is not as safe for the dog.
