About Fozzie Bear

Fozzie Bear found his way to SNIPSA alongside his much peppier sister who has since been adopted. A little slow to come out of his shell, Fozzie Bear will need an adopter who understands that it might take a minute for this little guy to feel comfortable with them. His adopters will need to go slow with him for a bit until they have gained his trust. We do recommend Fozzie goes to a home without small children or very active homes as he is still getting used to how friendly humans are and gets frightened by sudden movements. But we know that after getting into a routine and knowing you will always be there for him, Fozzie Bear will wiggle his way into your heart and your lap. Fozzie does great with other dogs and cats too. He just needs that special family that is willing to truly help him work through being a rescue dog and finally becoming part of a family. His foster has nothing but good things to say about this scruffy boy: 'He is potty trained and crate trained. He walks well on a leash but is still nervous. He army crawls a lot because he gets startled easily. But his tail is always wagging. He follows me every single time i stand up and go anywhere he's like Velcro but we're working on distance.
