About Snoopy

This beautiful springy boy is Snoopy, but he really should be named Tigger! Snoopy can jump 5 feet straight up into your arms...and will! He is a sweet, fun, loving little guy who came to us after his people were evicted from the house--and left all their dogs behind. Snoopy is an 18 month old Chihuahua mix. He is a little underweight at 10.8 pounds and needs some fattening up! He gets along great with other little dogs, and would love a home with other dogs to play with. He should absolutely be in an active home (one with kids, lots of playing, lots of energy) or in a home with another playful dog. He's used to being with lots of dogs in his prior home and was happy about it! He definitely needs a fenced yard. He has lots of energy and needs to be able to run and play safely! He does well on a leash and loves walks. Snoopy has been around older kids and was fine. He has not been around cats. We think he would probably chase them so he might not be the best fit for a kitty friendly home. Snoopy is very affectionate and loves to be in your lap and sleeps on the big bed at night. He loves being anywhere you are and wants to be next to you. He has been to the vet for a wellness check, is neutered, up to date on shots, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. He is heartworm positive and has started treatment which is covered by the rescue. This bouncy baby boy is all ready for his new home!
