Courtesy post: Located in CT He is a dog that was rescued very skinny and was nursed back to health by a good samaritan who had him living with 3 other dogs. He lived with and loved a younger child in a home and was apparently a great dog that liked his toys, to play and to run. Never showed signs of aggression. From the people who he lives with: He is 4 to 5 years old (they do have his AKC papers) this is what they wrote: JASPER is a great dog and we live him and he loves us but for some reason he has become unpredictable. Here are some of his changes. When walking becomes very focused on anyone coming towards him. Fine while walking with others even right next to them. If approached will begin to bark. Behavior is unpredictable as he may be sitting next to you while you are talking and all of a sudden lunge and bark. When corrected will then sit again. This occurs with people he knows and has walked with for the past 5 months. Has become increasingly excited in the car especially when you pull into parking lot - whining, barking, crying. When driving or at a light perfect. Was never like that. Went to vet twice, not muzzled and did great - happy to see them. This is why we say unpredictable. He may do better with having another dog around to keep him calm
