About Phish (west)

Hi, my name is PHISH - ID#A4366154. I am a spayed female, black and white American Pit Bull Terrier mix. The shelter staff think I am about 2 years and 4 months old, and I have been at the shelter since Feb 02, 2021. Phish is a sweet girl with an easy pull and return. She is great on leash, and a lot of fun in the yard. Phish is food motivated and very gentle with treats. Her previous owners said she is afraid of water, and shy around men. She is a counter surfer (steals food off kitchen counter), and is pretty much a garbage disposal - will eat anything. Phish likes people and older children, but probably needs to be only pet in house. Recent notes about Phish from a volunteer: 5/7/2021 WALK Phish is a high energy girl who is eager to explore the world. Some fence fighting & lunging seen when exiting the wing, but during the return she was much calmer. She was an easy pull and return. She accepted petting but did not seem to seek it. Phish could use some socialization in-home training and leash training around other dogs. Please consider giving this lovely lady a home. She is at danger of being euthanized.
