Hey all you fine friends, I'm Honey! I am a 2 year old 52 pound pit mix that came to ADA from a rural shelter in southern Virginia. Would you just look at my cute face! Do you have little people? I'll love them unconditionally! Are you home most of the time or able to take along for a ride? I prefer to be with my people as much as possible and I don't like to be crated. What about four legged friends? I get along great with my foster dog siblings but I haven't been around cats there. Not trying to be egotistical here but I'm a beautiful, loyal, clever, mellow girl! I love getting attention from everyone but I'm looking for a family that I can call my own to get the most love and attention from. Are you or your family the perfect match for me? I promise you'll love me at first sight! Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and are scheduling individual adoptions in the Waynesboro, VA area during the pandemic. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
