Looking for the perfect couch companion? Andy is your guy! This sweet boy came to us from a rural shelter. Andy is about 3 years old and weighs around 30 pounds. He is extremely sweet and loving but will need time to feel comfortable in new situations and around new people. Andy is housebroken and crate trained. Leash walking is a challenge for him so a fenced in yard would help with exercise and bathroom breaks. Andy loves other dogs and would probably be most successful in a home with other dogs. Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and are scheduling individual adoptions in the Waynesboro, VA area during the pandemic. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
