About Lucky

Lucky is a long hair Chihuahua that is 9 years old and weighs 8 pounds. A family driving happen to see this little black thing being attacked by a pack of dogs. They immediately got out and were able to save this dog from certain death. They named him Lucky and brought him to us right away, after taking him to an emergency vet. Lucky had dog bites and a bad back leg. He had no collar/tag and not microchipped. We immediately took him to the vet and he was indeed a lucky dog. The wounds were minor and the leg was due to a very old injury. He had some post traumatic behavior and would over react when being picked up. Over time, he proven he can outrun the fosters and now demands to be picked up. He is very smart, housebroken, needs no assistance in the yard, gets along well with the other dogs, eats well, drinks well, and is healthy. If there is an open crate in the house, he will find it. He runs a bit sideways, much like a crab, but has no difficulties in getting to where he wants to go. Lucky would be great for someone that wants a small, lovable, little dog.
