PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE BIO ON THIS DOG BEFORE REQUESTING AN APPLICATION. MANY OF OUR DOGS HAVE STRICT REQUIREMENTS FOR THEIR ADOPTION. 1. Phoebe needs a fully-fenced yard. 2. No children under the age of 12. 3. Adopter needs to be willing to put time into training since Phoebe is such a young dog. Hi my name is Phoebe. I am a 30ish pound, five month old husky/staffordshire terrier growing girlie! I'm a really silly puppy with no manners yet. You see, I'm a puppy so I jump up on people and I love to play. My play style is a bit overly exuberant, so no children under 12, as I wouldn't want to knock a little one down on accident or play too hard with them. I like to play fetch, Frisbee, chew on bones and stuffies. I take all the toys out of the toy box and I play with them all! My foster Mom is so happy that I haven't chewed up anything other than my toys. I love to go for walks but I need to learn how to walk better on a leash as I pull really hard! Walking is sooo exciting! I have learned to sit pretty for a treat. It was really easy because I'm really smart! I love everyone I meet, as well as other dogs. I just want to play with them all. My foster Mommy says that I will need structure and rules or I might run a muck! I think I would really like obedience training so I can learn to be a really good dog. I have a bit of separation anxiety, although I am getting better. I'm figuring out my foster Mom always comes back. I'm a really sweet girl and I love to give kisses and even lay on you. I am about 85% potty trained. I have a few accidents as I'm still a puppy! I get the zoomies in the morning, so a yard with a fence would be ideal so I can run around really fast. My foster Mom says I have just the right amount of energy and down time. Oh! One more thing! I do snore sometimes! I hope that doesn't ruin my chances of finding my forever home? Woof!! Smidget Rescue is not a shelter, and dogs cannot be seen at the Rescue location. All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters. If you live within a five-hour radius of Seattle, WA, (such as Portland, Vancouver B.C., etc.), we can arrange for a home visit. If your home seems like a great fit for the dog you would like to adopt, you must then drive to meet the dog at one of our weekend events or at the fosters home.
