Bentley is searching for an adult-only home with a strong leader that has a minimal number of frequent visitors. He is initially wary of strangers, but warms up with a little patience and is extremely loyal and affectionate to his loved ones. He would be happiest in a home where his owner is home more often than not. Bentley is a very smart boy who is house broken, kennel trained, leash trained and also knows basic commands. He is also currently enrolled in a board and train program with Zen K9 who says he is one of their favorite residents! Bentley has not done well with male dogs in the past, so he may be happiest in a home where he is the only pet and center of attention, or with a female canine companion. He would particularly enjoy a home with a yard that he can run around in and talk to the birds. No apartments or homes that share common walls please, as he tends to forget to use his inside voice when his family is away.
