About Lucy

Lucy is a beautiful and highly intelligent Australian Kelpie cattle dog. She is 8 years old. She loves walks and car rides and looking out the front door at home! She was with her original owners for 8 years until they decided she was not a good fit for their home any longer due to babies being born. Being displaced into a foster home has been very hard on her. Being 8 years old she is set in her ways and is now fearful and anxious. She is not good with children or large groups of people at this time. Lucy is a wonderful companion dog for a single person or couple that has a quiet, calm home with no children or large dogs. Being in a place with lots of people and noise makes her anxious and she can act out. A single person/couple in quiet home with a yard or land would be perfect. She would not work well in a small apartment left alone all day. She is a herding breed and loves to herd her person/couple all day in a peaceful, calm environment. Please help save this beautiful girl. Her time in foster care is very limited and needs HELP!
