About Flo

Flo is now available for adoption! She is a 3-4 year old Foxhound mix. Flo is a beautiful and sweet girl who has had one of the hardest lives her foster mom has experienced. Flo loves to walk around outside and sniff away. She loves to bury her stuffed toys and chew on a nice bone. Flo would do best in a quiet environment with a secure fenced yard. She loves to zoom around! Loud noises make her scared and cause her to hide. She prefers females and quiet children so any men in her home will need to work to gain her trust and understand it may take some time. Flo is crate trained and does very well when it is needed. She has slept out of the crate but eats in the crate because she is slow to eat her food. She does well with the other dogs in the house but does not need them. She travels very nice in the car. Flo would do well with continued exposure to people and experience in other places. NOTE: we are a foster-based rescue in Southeastern Pennsylvania which means we don't have a physical location (our sanctuary is for our farm animals only). We only set up meets for approved applicants and you must be located within 2 hours of Philadelphia.
