About Alphie

Alphie is estimated to be about 5 years old and weighs around 101 pounds. He's maybe a mix between an English and American Bulldog due to his size? He's come to the shelter as a stray so we don't know much about him and we are learning now. He's done fine with all the shelter staff and volunteers but he's not been around very young children so we don't know how he would do. He's a big guy and may knock down really young kids. He's also not been cat tested so no cats or small critters in his new home. He's been dog tested with other dogs his size at the shelter and he's done fine. Of course slow and proper introduction is always key. We don't know if he's house trained as he lives at the shelter but he does well in the kennel. We don't know if he's had any kind of obedience training but he's getting some basics from volunteers when he can. He is currently in Fort Worth, TX but can make the trek to Olympia, WA scheduled to arrive on Saturday May 22nd with a pre-adoption which is the only way to secure that he will for sure go home with you! Pre-Adoption means getting your app in, approved and paying the adoption fee to secure the ride. His adoption fee is $595 which covers his neuter, vaccinations, HW testing, chipping, health certificate and transport fees.
