About Precious

URGENT: This poor senior is Precious (A5410579) and she has been waiting at the shelter since March 28th. 'The word, precious certainly describes this poor senior - just look at her face. At 10 years old, this old gal finds herself dumped at the shelter and is understandably confused and fearful. Based on her assessment, she is still trusting of humans, but fearful and defensive around other dogs, so the shelter recommends that she's the only dog in the household. We've seen over and over how a fearful dog blooms as soon as they leave the shelter, but such a restriction makes it more difficult for Precious to get out, as most experienced fosters would have other animals. So, Precious needs a little extra help. Health-wise Precious has the typical senior dog issues - severe dental tartar. Other than this, she appears to have no other significant health issues. And she's already spayed, so she can go to her new home ASAP.' Precious shouldn't be in a cold, busy, noisy shelter. She deserves to be on a soft dog bed in a loving foster/forever home.
