About Vaughn

Can you believe Vaughn has been sitting at the shelter waiting for a home since December? He is so ready to be adopted forever and spend his nights playing with his family! Vaughn is the classic case of a distracted dog that sees a 'squirrel' and loses all train of thought. He has done well playing with other dogs in the shelter and loves a good PB filled Kong toy! At only 2 years old, Vaughn has some energy and shows off his zoomies. He has been working with the staff to walk better on a leash, but sometimes he forgets and starts jumping up and rolling around because he's so excited to go on a walk! He will need some follow up training to help his jumping and leash work. Vaughn is said to be a 52 lb Black Lab / GSD mix, however that curly tail might show some Basenji or Canaan in him! Please bring your whole family (both two and four legged!) down to the shelter to meet Vaughn! The shelter is requiring that children in the home be 12 years or older.
