About Jack

Meet Jack!! If you are looking for a boy that is the life of the party with oodles of personality, cuteness and love to spare then Jack is your boy!! This 2 year old Terrier Mix (we do not really know mixed with what) is the perfect small dog size. He weighs about 17 pounds, loves to play and adores people and children. He came from home where he was taken care of for two years. After impregnating the other family dog they wisely had him neutered and then decided that they did not have the time to care for him. Jack is a VERY happy dog. He would make the perfect family dog with kids or as the kind of dog that can go with you everywhere whether it be on RV trips or to take to work. He is kind, doesn't have a mean bone in his body and just wants to be loved and hugged and kissed. He will run around the backyard and play and the next minute come snuggle with you on the couch. He really does love hugs and affection as he is very connected to people. His adoption fee includes: 1. Neuter 2. Current vaccines including rabies. 3. Microchip 4. New collar and leash 5. Starter food 6. Grooming An adoption fee does apply. As we prescreen via email ONLY (we do NOT make or receive phone calls in the pre-screening phase) please tell us a bit about you such as: 1. If you do not currently have a pet how you will keep Jack socialized with other dogs Some notes to consider before applying for Jack: 1. Although Jack is an adult dog he is the type of dog that needs interaction and play. Please make sure that everyone is on board and ready for the responsibility of a young dog. 2. Please make sure you are ready to adopt before coming to see our adoptable dogs. We are a foster based rescue and do not have the space to hold dogs for a couple of weeks while you vacation or make your way to California to come and adopt. We will adopt out of state but ONLY if the potential adopter comes here to adopt in person and that is after a screening by Skype. WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS EVER. 3. We are often inundated with emails about our adoptable dogs and try as we might to make everyone happy it is nearly impossible with only one dog and sometimes up to 50 potential families. The more information you provide in your email to us the quicker we will get back to you. If you have written to us before about a particular dog and did not receive a response please do try again. We try to answer every email but it is not always possible. Every dog has different home requirements that we search for so sometimes you are the right fit for the dog we are trying to place. 4.
