About Indiana

Indiana (Indy) is a lover of food and snuggles. She relocated with her mom, dad and fur sister from South Africa in 2019, and has been nothing but an amazing companion and snuggle buddy in the 6+ years we have owned her. She has the classic American Staffordshire Terrier smile and has always put a smile on our faces. Sadly, Indy's prey instinct kicked in when we brought home our newborn baby and we are in need of a loving home for her. She grunts like a pig when she wants attention, and will throw herself on her back to get tummy rubs at every opportunity. She would be okay to reintroduce into a home with another dog, as long as it is a medium- or large-sized dog as her prey instinct applies to small dogs, too. She has previously been a single dog and was perfectly happy. She was previously the victim of a dog attack and has some scars around her legs as a result but they don't bother her. She has the beginnings of arthritis in her back legs. She pulls on the lead. We cannot overemphasize what a sweet and loving dog she is and it absolutely breaks our hearts to give her up. Please consider her when looking for a new dog to love.
