About EMMY

Courtesy Posting: VILLAGE WE NEED TO HELP THIS SWEET PUP! NEEDS A RESCUE/FOSTER/PLEDGES TO SAVE HER! EMMY Seal Beach, So Cal I spoke with a sweet senior woman named Debbie who lives in Leisure World in Seal Beach. She has a super sweet, 3 yr, 80 lb, female Staffie named Emmy who needs to be re-homed asap! Debbie is 4'10', weighs 90 pounds and has a pittie that weighs 80 lbs....she cannot walk the pup as she is too much for her. The pup is very sweet (good with people and other dogs) loves to play, very smart and this woman has been paying someone to walk this pup 3x per day and has used up her savings. Debbie was not living at Leisure World when she initially got the dog. She moved there and got the dog registered as a service dog so Leisure World could not force her to get rid of Emmy. Apparently, management at that facility is now complaining that Emmy is barking too much......who wouldn't being cooped up indoors all day...... Emmy is over at her son Scott's apartment in Long Beach for another few days or so, but apparently the apartment is in escrow and I don't know where he will go. All in all, this dog needs to be re-homed with a family who can take care of her and let her out in a yard to run and play. Debbie does not want the dog to go to a shelter and said if she has to she will put the pup to sleep �'�|. she was sobbing when she said this. I believe she is a sweet lady that is trying to do the best for her beloved dog. Debbie is exhausted from people calling to help her and asked that we speak with her son, Scott 562-900-0229 going forward. Have attached a copy of the letter she sent out and pix of Emmy
