Bentley is a rescue I made this year. He was starving (20 lbs underweight), and was limping badly. He has a hip injury that has healed wrong. But he uses that leg well. When he gets tired he tends to hold that leg up and start to bunny hop on it. Because of his size, no one was stopping for him. So I had to do something. He wouldn't have made it through the snow storm and negative temperatures if I hadn't. He is such a sweet boy, with an amazing personality. He is full of life and love. He never potties in the house. And lets you know when he needs out. He chews a lot because he is still a puppy. So he has a lot of chew toys and get plenty of chew bones. We also give him Joint Repair chews for his hip. He is still on puppy food, so his bones can grow stronger. And food needs to be measured so he won't get too big, and cause problems for his leg. We love him so much. But can't give him the proper amount of time and attention that he deserves. He does act happy here. But I know he could be so much happier, if he had more attention, and maybe a play buddy. He wants to protect and love. And he does.
