About Legend

'Hello! My name is Legend and yes, before you ask, I'll sign your poster. Okay, maybe I'm not super famous, but I would love to be your superhero! I am a 3 year old German Shepherd that is looking for a home to call my own. What do you think... could we be partners? I came to SVASC when my owner was no longer able to juggle having a dog on top of everything else going on, so now I have my paws crossed that I might luck out and find someone that has some Shepherd experience. I am a quirky fella and love to be the center of attention. I'm an all eyes on me when I walk in the room kind of guy. I am a young Shepherd and can be pretty pushy about getting what I want when I want it, so I will need someone that can help me learn boundaries and hopefully get me signed up for training classes. I am a sweet and loving boy, but can be a bit nervous when I'm just meeting someone, so I would like to take things slowly. Once I know you, I am just your normal, happy Shepherd. You're gonna love this... I am totally house-trained and have pretty good house manners. I am pretty strong on my leash, but am ready to be your new adventure buddy. I have lived with another dog and while I was okay with him, I can be very protective over my toys and food. I would do best in a home where I am either the only pet or with folks that are experienced managing a pup like me. I have also live with kids, but would do best in a home with only children that are teenagers or older, due to my size and how rowdy I can sometimes be.
