About Stella

Super sweet, 3 year old spayed female Border Collie mix named Stella is looking for her forever home. She is AMAZING with people, especially kids, and loves to meet everyone. She is very smart and will work for treats. She can sit/spin around/shake on command. She would be easy to train for someone with experience. She is house trained. She loves to play, but is also great at just laying around. She does get intense when playing with her favorite toy. She does not whine and only barks to alert us to someone coming up the driveway or at animals that come into the yard. (especially bunnies!) She is up to date on vaccines and proheart. We are looking to rehome her only because she is too rough with our older male schnoodle mix. They play great 98% of the time, but every now and then she gets too excited and they 'fight'. She would probably do best as an only dog, although with the right male companion she may do ok. She would be great for a family that hikes/camps and/or spins a lot of time outside and has children.
