About Mackintosh and Loki

Great Pyrenees
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Hello all. I am reaching out in hopes that I can potentially find a good home for my sweet boy(s), Mackintosh and Loki. We've had Mack for 4 years, and Loki for 3 and we love them very much. After having my first baby last January, I have been really struggling to meet the needs of the baby and my dogs. The hair is everywhere all the time, always in my sons mouth and in his food. I have to clean the floors every day (vacuum and mop as we live where there is a lot of rain and they play outside a lot), and I have to keep an eye on the baby and Mack because Mack does not like the baby much and growls at him when he gets close. I don't think he'd ever hurt a fly but one just never knows. He does well with older children but not little ones who accidentally pull hair etc. I feel so strung out and I have been telling myself it will get better and I can figure it out.. but it is not getting better and I am so short with everyone because I really just can't keep up with everything. My husband and I are talking about baby number two and I just cannot fathom having another baby with the dirt and hair and worry I have at this moment. I am looking for someone in the Virginia area who would be interested in adopting my two beautiful boys. They love each other so much and I would rather they stay together. But if the only way to find a good happy home is to break them up then so be it. Mack is all Pyr, and Loki is a Aussie/Bernese Mountain Dog mix. Both amazing, sweet boys, both love people and children just maybe not smaller children who pull hair for Mack. House trained, up to date one shots, Mack is fixed and Loki will be too soon, and they will come with everything they need including crates for travel. A very ideal place for these gentle giants would be a home on some land with lots of space for Loki to run and Mack to bark. Loki likes to herd and Macks instincts are to protect. I will have to know everything about you and where you live. I can't give my babies up to just anyone.
