About Gemma

Adoption Fee: $175
German Shepherd mix
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Female

Gemma spends her mornings exploring every corner, bush and plant. Gemma has been working hard at mastering her potty training skills and she is almost there. She has picked up from her foster brother to dingle the bells by the back door when she wants outside but also will quietly seek attention from her person too.. Gemma is an active and a little mischievous young lady. Actually she is a goof ball. She loves to start a full on wrestling match and finish with the Kentucky Derby around the yard. She loves it when her brothers chase her in pursuit of their stolen chew toy. Her curiosity with her foster cats gets her in trouble but they are teaching her about boundaries and she is coming to terms that they don't want to play. Gemma is a quick study. She is eager to please her person and seeks out love and affection. Gemma thrives in an active house and requires regular exercise and mental stimulation. She gets along with both large and small dogs and has been great at introducing herself gently and slowly. She will freely use her open kennel to nap when she is tuckered out, and is kennel trained. Gemma is a 5-6 month old, German Shephard mix (30-40lbs). She is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and will come with a spay contract to be completed within 6 months of adoption. To apply to adopt visit www.handsofhoperescue.com/adoptapp. Gemma's adoption fee is $175 with a $75 deposit that will be returned with proof of spay. All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application is approved, we will put you in touch with the dogs foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the pet. This dog is fostered in Manhattan, KS and adopter must drive to pick up. We do not ship or deliver.
