**WE ONLY DO HOME VISITS FOR ADOPTIONS NEAR BROWARD & PALM BEACH COUNTIES** Check out Hoagie Chihuahua mix and his stunning blue/grey with tan plush, coat! This shy young man is 2 years old and 12 pounds, a nice chunk of love! He is like your favorite hoagie sandwich/hoagie/sub filled with�%A0plumpy goodness! LOL! Hoagie wants to be touched gently and talked to in a normal tone. He must have been yelled at before because he will cower if doesn't understand your tone of voice. He is playful and has�%A0good energy for jogging or walking with you. Once he is home he is chill with a toy or following you around. He is good with dogs his age and activity level. He is small, don't let his photos fool you he is the size of a lean Mini Dachshund with that long body. We don't know what he is mixed with but Miniature Pinschers, Dachshunds, Chihuahuas, and other small breeds are Blue and Tan. He is fully grown and he won't get bigger, maybe gain weight but that's it.�%A0His adoption fee is $350 to go towards his vetting�%A0(vaccines, spay/neuter, heartworm/Ehrlichia/Lyme test, fecal test, pre-op blood work, dental cleaning, and microchip as well as grooming if needed). We don't buy inexpensive bulk dry kibble, our rescues are fed premium wet food diets as part of a comprehensive rehabilitation program to ensure maximum health.*All of our rescues receive complete quality vetting including full dental cleaning with pre-op bloodwork, spay/neuter, vaccines, and grooming. Dogs in need of specialized medicine will be seen by specialists, such as full cardiac workups, ophthalmologist visits, all suspicious lumps, and bumps are biopsied, and every medical need is transparent to potential adopters. *Once you adopt from Get a Life Pet Rescue, you become part of our compassionate family and we are here for you if a problem with your precious dog arises.
