About SOPHIA

Sophia is a 3-year-old female Maltipoo. She is a happy, active girl who loves car rides, cuddles, other dogs, and people. She had a very hard life until she was rescued and given the medical attention she needed. She will need someone who is either home most of the time or is able to take her with them if they go out to run errands, etc. She has separation anxiety and does not like to be left home alone. MEDICAL NEEDS: Sophia was born with a cranial deformity that affects her eye's ability to stay moist. Daily eyecare with cleansing and drops is necessary and will be for her entire life. She has had bilateral entropian surgery (abnormality of the eyelids in which the eyelids roll inward). MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS: 1) Daily eyecare for her medical condition 2) At least one parent home most of the time KIDS: Kids okay as long as they are kind and gentle and like to play. Sophia's adoption fee is $375.00 and she is spayed, microchipped and up to date on shots. She will go to her new home with a harness, leash and collar.
