'Well hello there! Fancy seeing you 'round these parts. My name is Outlander and well, I hate to ask for help, but I would really like to find myself one of those forever families that I keep hearing 'bout. Think that we could be partners? Swing on by the shelter and get to know me some! I am a 4-6 year old Coonhound that came to SVASC as a stray. I'm sure you can tell, but I ain't been skipping too many dinners, so I couldn't have been out straying around for too long before I was found. Thank goodness I was found too because my tummy was just a'rumbling for supper. Like most Hounds, I love my food, but my adopter will likely need to help me watch my weight. Additionally, like most hound dogs, I always have my nose on the ground, so my adopters should either have a fenced in yard on be prepared to leash walk me. Good news is that I'm easy as pie to walk on a leash. All in all, I'm one big, lovable pup and I just can't wait to come home with you. I am one of the friendliest pups around and just love to be loved. When I'm around people, I am just soaking in all the attention that I can get. I am pretty gentle and have some pretty decent manners. (Mama raised me right!) I should be just fine in a home with youngins, but go ahead and plan to brind em with you when you come to meet me. I'm pretty good with other dogs as well, being that I'm a social butterfly, you know, but again, just go right on ahead and bring your pups along to meet me as well.
