'Hi there! My name is Spielberg and I just want to be your new bestie. I am a 1-2 year old Australian Shepherd / American Bulldog mix; I know... such a strange mix, but I'm just as cute as they come, so who cares. I was just hoping that I could find a patient and loving family. What do you think? I came to SVASC after I was really left to fend for myself when my owners split. When I came in, I was pretty thin and very nervous, but I have started putting on weight and gaining confidence. I am really just about the sweetest pup ever and just crave attention all of the time. I'm really not used to having someone that dotes on me, so it will be a nice change to be a part of your family. While I can be a bit nervous upon first introductions, I warm up nicely and am your typical young dog after a few minutes of getting to know you. I am a medium energy pup and will enjoy walks and play time, as well as cuddles and naps. In my previous home, I was a strictly outdoor dog and never got a chance to learn inside manners, so moving in with you may be a bit of an adjustment. Don't worry, though, because I'm ready to try my best and put my best paw forward; I'll make sure that everything works out fine! I'm a very intelligent dog and should pick up on inside living just fine. I have lived with other dogs and should do okay, but would like to meet any current residents before going home. I should also do okay in a home with kids, as long as they are a touch on the older side and will respect my boundaries. My adoption fee is $125 to an approved adopter.
