About Samson

**PLEASE READ SAMSON'S BIO THOROUGHLY BEFORE INQUIRING.** This is our handsome boy, Samson, who was found as a stray on the streets in a very bad neighborhood, scrounging for food, love, and shelter. We don't know how he got to be on the streets, but at some point he must have been in a home because he is one of the loving and sweet dogs ever! Samson is an approximately 6 -7 year old Retriever/Border Collie mix who is about 36lbs. Samson can be an only dog or he could go in a home with another sweet/mellow dog. He would make an excellent family dog as we see that he does love kids that are kind and gentle with him. Children 10 years or older would be fine. He definitely needs a yard that he can lounge in and a family that will take him on daily walks. He seems to be potty trained with outdoor access, but we never guarantee it with a rescue dog. A non chaotic home would be best for him with a family that is not gone long hours during the day and can spend the time with him that he truly deserves. Samson had a very rough life on the streets and we don't know exactly what he went through, but we do know he is deserving of the best home out there!! **PLEASE NOTE THAT SAMSON IS IN THE SANTA YNEZ VALLEY AND MEET/GREETS WILL BE HELD OUT THERE. YOU DO NOT TAKE HIM HOME AT THIS TIME, IT IS JUST TO MEET HIM** Samson's adoption fee is $600.
