About Dixie

Needing rehomed ASAP. Meet Dixie. She is a 7yr old blue heeler with all the typical heeler traits. She is super sweet with her owners, loves to play fetch for however long you can throw her toy pig. She is super smart and follows commands such as sit, lay down, go to bed(her crate) and is house trained and crate trained. She loves rawhide bones and will sit pretty for one. She has been with us since she was 6mths old but has recently gotten very aggressive with our other dog and hurt her over food. She would do well in a home with a larger breed dog or be the only pet. We had a German shepherd when we got Dixie and she did great with her, never got aggressive with her at all. She does not like small dogs or small children. She is very timid at first if she doesn't know you but warms up on her own terms. She is very food aggressive as well with small dogs. She needs someone that is experienced with heelers and can be very patient with her. She is spayed and up to date on all her shots. She will come with her pig, a bowl and her crate.
