About STAR-LORD

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BEFORE YOU RESPOND. STAR-LORD and her 8 siblings (MANTIS, BLACK WIDOW, and her 6 pregnant sisters ) and her mom KIKI were all living in a garage in Moreno Valley, Ca. They were all named after SUPER HEREOS. It seemed fitting since they were all basically surviving and being fed scrapes, fighting other cats and dogs. They were living off a dangereous street where people were actually poisoning the cats too. The renter of the house is KIKI's mom. Apparently, KIKI had her first litter and that's where the 9 cats came from. Now to our surprise (or the lady lied) they had never had kittens before. We intitally were called to save 2 pregnant cats. Well that resue turned into 9 cats. And 6 of the 9 were pregnant. STAR-LORD was the only male in the group. These poor guys were so skinny, dirty and scared. And when STAR-LORD came to our rescue, we discovered he was very social. STAR-LORD is very laid back, but will all of a sudden get the zoomies and play with anything he can find. He loves to be picked up and even kissed. When the wet food is being distrubuted...he is talkative and excited! He 'makes muffins' with his feet to find perfect spot. He has found toys and likes to play. He loves ear and belly rubs. STAR-LORD is a DOMESTIC LONG HAIR / MAINE COON MIX. He is about 9-10 months old and he is good with cats. He is non-reactive to dogs. He has never been around children. STAR-LORD is currently at PETSMART in Hemet, Ca. MAY 2021: With all the needed social distancing...we are still doing adoptions. We can do meet and greets BY APPOINTMENT ONLY at any PETSMART. But steps 1. thru 4. of the ADOPTION PROCESS must be done first. VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to do meet and greets...not PETSMART employees. Gas donations always appreciated! ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Request Application By Email 2. Submit Application 3. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview 4. Will be notified of Approved Application 5. Meet and Greet with Kitty 6. Sign Adoption Contract 7. Pay Adoption Fee 8. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED) 9. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out be patient. Also, we are an all VOLUNTEER rescue, meaning we are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescues. So we do not do DISCOUNTS.
