About Tonka

Lab mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Tonka is a New Mexico Black Dog that has been in a loving home for five years. Tonka's family is moving and cannot take him or his brother Chief with them. He is very loving and craves attention. He likes activities with his family. True to a lab's nature, Tonka is food driven and will sit and shake paws for a treat. Tonka loves to run and play. Tonka would do best with another doggie friend in the home. Tonka is crate trained, house/potty trained, and obedience trained as a puppy. Tonka knows how to use a doggie door. His brother Chief needs a new home too if you would like a pair, but they can be separated too. PACA is a foster based rescue with no shelter to view our dogs. We have temporarily stopped all our public adoption events due to COVID-19, however we are still placing dog into loving homes by private appointment with approved applications. Completed applications will be given to the foster to coordinate meetings as everyone feels comfortable. This application helps us get to know you and your family a little better so we can find the perfect match! Application are found here: http://nmpaca.org/images/pdf_files/PACA_Adoption_Application.pdf Please email completed applications to [email protected] All our animals are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for tic born illness and heartworm prior to adoption. Our fee is $175.
