About Smokey

Smokey is a handsome 3.5 year old Poodle mix who is looking for his loving forever home. Smokey is a very friendly boy who loves his people so much he never wants them gone and may do best in a home where he is rarely left alone. Smokey will need a home with only mature women 18 and older. Smokey is used to being the only dog, so he would happily be the center of attention, but will need to meet any potential canine companions before adoption. He has lived with big dogs previously and has done ok around small dogs here. He is not a fan of the feline friends. Smokey is a good boy who is house broken and great on a leash for evening walks. He also uses the doggy door, is kennel trained, and rides well in the car. He loves to play with toys - especially balls. He likes to sleep in bed with his person but is also used to sleeping in his kennel at night. He weighs in at 16 pounds full grown and is hypoallergenic/non shedding. He is looking for a home with a securly fenced in yard. He loves to sun bath, chase flashlight lights, and is a smart boy who knows many commands! Smokey is not a fan of being woken up, or people messing with his food. He will need a firm yet understanding owner of his quirks. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, licensed, and vet checked. His adoption fee is $300 and comes with a complimentary vet exam. To potentially adopt him come to our shelter location at 1102 W Hatcher Road in Phoenix 85021, open Tuesday to Sunday 11am to 6pm.
