About Ugo

This is Ugo. He is a silly, energetic, and incredibly smart 1-year old Blue Heeler in need of a new owner because of reactivity to his current living environment. Right now, Ugo lives in a city (San Francisco) with too many stressful distractions and is in need of more space, structure, and activity to overcome some of his fears. We are looking for people with experience and a love of working dogs to help find him the best home and give him the life he is built for. Ugo is a one-person kind of pup and loves to constantly be with you, engaging and having quality time. The ideal home for him is with someone who is confident, has owned/trained high-energy dogs before, and loves quirky Cattle Dog personalities. He can be fearful and reactive in new situations, but with a confident handler he can be trusting, disciplined, and a total star. He would do best in a home where he is the only dog and can get individualized attention (no children!) Health-wise, he is super healthy, neutered, and fully vaccinated. He is also house-trained, knows all the essential commands, is great on leash, and knows quite a few tricks too. He is one of the quickest, smartest dogs you'll meet but he does need someone who knows how to channel his brilliant energy the right way. Open to anywhere in California or a neighboring state even.
